We do this through technology called the Getaround Connect™ which empowers car owners to share their cars. This impacts the local economy by reducing the number of cars that need to be on the road, each shared car takes 10 – 13 cars off the road. 1,000 Getaround cars in a city will take 10,000 other cars off the road, eliminate 100 million pounds of carbon pollution, and inject $10 million into the local economy every year — all at zero cost to taxpayers.
